Route to Elsewhere: A Visit with Author Dirk Wierenga

What started as a PBS documentary project grew into a 10,000 mile journey along US 2 for author and filmmaker Dirk Wierenga, who captured the joys, sacrifices and quiet resilience of life in rural Northern America. Dirk's book and presentation captures the landscapes and hearts of the people he met along he way, including those in the U.P. and right here in Ironwood.  Join us for this "two author" Saturday that features Dirk at 10am ad Jim Anderson and his book, Discovering America One Marathon at a Time, at noon.
