Non-voting Member-Student Board Appointment
for the Ironwood Carnegie Library
The Ironwood Carnegie Library is looking for a student to serve on its Library Board of Trustees as a non-voting member for a 1-year term beginning January 2023. The student shall:
- Be 12 to 18 years old and still enrolled in school at the time of appointment.
- Be a resident of the library service area or a registered library card holder.
- Agree to follow all policies and procedures as required by board members, including library privacy act requirements.
Interested students should submit a letter of interest with their credentials, name, grade, contact number and a brief paragraph on why they would be interested in participating in the library board. Letters can be dropped off the at the library, emailed to lynne@ironwoodcarnegie.org or mailed to:
